Pam Hemann
President, Association Management Services, Inc.

Pamela Hemann, FASAE, CAE is president of Association Management Services, Inc., a management company serving regional, national and international associations. She founded AMS in 1988 and prior to AMS, she held senior positions with associations in Washington, DC.
She is active in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), earned the CAE designation (1989), is an ASAE Fellow, a past chairman of ASAE, and was the 2014 ASAE Key Awardee. She was a member of the task force that researched and wrote “7 Measures of Success: What Remarkable Associations Do That Others Don’t,” a project mentored by Jim Collins and built on the “Good to Great” research model.
Ms. Hemann was appointed by Governor Newsom to serve as a Commissioner on the California State Bar’s Judicial Nominee Evaluation Commission. She serves a board member of the University of Nebraska’s Hixson-Lied College of Fine Arts and as a UNL Foundation Trustee.
She holds two degrees in Fine Arts: MA, University of Denver; BA, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is active with UNL serving as a trustee of the UNL Foundation and on the Hixson-Lied Board of the College of Fine & Performing Arts.
